i have to admit, when i read the pattern for this i was confused; i think i only ever use short rows for sock heels! my spatial reckoning is lousy too, but once i started working this up, it all began to make sense. super cute, super quick little project, which i think will be just perfect for making baby washcloths.

4/4/10: i’ve made a million more! although i will admit, the first one i made i used a size 5 needle (because that was all i had) and it made for an extra sturdy, tough to knit, dishcloth. since then i’ve been using the recommended size 6 and they’ve gone much quicker.
