i liked the first one i made so much i’m making one for myself.

2/9/10: for this one, i’m throwing garter and eyelet ridges in at random! you know, just to spice things up. also, i saw a surgeon yesterday and he poked and prodded at my weird hand, resulting in even more pain and stiffness. i didn’t realize i babied my hand so much; all the touching and smooshing of my hand yesterday is really affecting me today. pass it ibuprofen, please.

2/14/10: done! whew. the color changes turned out nice; even though my last inch or so was actually a second skein that wasn’t in the same dye lot. lucky for me this yarn is pretty forgiving when it comes to that. i also bit the bullet and bought new blocking pins today. i’m sure i have some, but i can’t find them, and the last simple things i blocked i did a half-assed job on. this one will be blocked better!

2/16/10: i do believe this one is actually going to go to my friend alix. the colors are just much more her style than mine, and i know you can never have too many scarves in colorado!
