I’m adding purl sts at 4-5-3 row intervals. I want the pattern to be more crowded than suggested. I’m not adding any purl stitches to the back of the shirt.
To keep track of my position, I have added a stitch marker to divide the front and back panels. Another stitch marker to indicate the middle of the front panel.

Like someone else suggested in their project notes, I only decreased stitches every other row(only on knit rows) in the armhole shaping section. I wanted more coverage in the upper body.

16” US size 8 circular needles for the neck
