Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in same dc, 2 dcs in next dc, FPDC (Front Post Double Crochet = put hook into bar ABOVE next chain, dc through it to create a raised ridge post) in next dc, (2 dcs in next dc) two times, FPDC in next dc repeat 3 times, sl st in top ch of beginning ch to join in round.

Round 3: Ch 3, 2 dcs in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dcs in next dc, FPDC over previous FPDC. (dc in next dc, 2 dcs in next dc) two times, FPDC over previous FPDC repeat 3 times, sl st in top ch of beginning ch to join.

Round 4: Ch 3, dc in next dc, 2 dcs in next dc, dc in next 2 dcs, 2 dcs in next dc, FPDC in previous FPDC. (dc in next 2 dcs, 2 dcs in next dc) two times, FPDC in previous FPDC repeat 3 times, sl st in top ch of beginning ch to join.

Now, for the Ridges and Bumps…
Ridge Step 1: Ch 2, hdc in same st, then hdc in same st, then hdc in each FPDC around, sl st in top of first hdc.

Ridge Step 2: Ch 3, dc in next 2 dcs, Bobble x 7
Step 1: yo insert hook into nxt st in row, yo draw yarn through (3 loops)
Step 2: yo insert hook into same st, yo draw through 2 loops (4 loops)
Step 3: yo insert hook into same st, yo draw through 2 loops (5 loops)
Step 4: yo insert hook into same st, yo draw through 2 loops (6 loops)
Step 5: yo insert hook into same st, yo draw through 2 loops (7 loops)
Step 6: yo draw yarn through all 7 loops on hook, tighten down
Between each bobble, dc in next 3 dcs, then Bobble again. Repeat 16 times, dc in last dc, sl st in top ch of beg ch.

Ridge Step 3: Ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in each st around (incl. bobbles), sl st in first hdc. Fasten off, weave tail in.

Make twisty horns! (See attached pic) Sew on. Voila!
