Wonderful pattern, gives a very elegant result.

Did eyes with felt and thread/wool stitching.

Did the hair by chaining desired length, then adding one row of sc.

This technique was useful, because the yarn didn’t need to be cut (i.e. only 2 ends to weave in).

Could do the tail etc. in one go, by completing one curly strand, then pulling a loop of yarn through the body into the next position and adding the next strand. Much easier than weaving in dozens of strands that might easily be pulled out by a hungry baby.
