I cast on for the collar using long tail tubular cast on and knit ribbing for 2 inches. The mohair yarn I purchased didn’t have enough contrast, so I opted to use another shade of magpie fibers. These were my only modifications.

I did micromanage the meadows color for the mosaic color work sections. I really wanted to focus on the blues in the skein, so I avoided the red/grey sections in my skein for the most part. I did use a bit of the red and a bit of the purple in the skeins on larger sections of the colorwork and I really like how it turned out. I really love seeing all the different color combinations that people are coming up with, but I stuck to my personal favorites for this one to ensure it would get a lot of wear.

I found the sleeve instructions to be slightly confusing at first, but by the second read thru I understood. The chart was helpful, and the pattern on the sleeves made it easier to make sure my sleeves were identical.

Cast off using the suggested tubular cast off for 2x2 rib.

During wet blocking my main color bled a lot, even with a shout color catcher. I always like to mention that in case someone wishes to try a high contrast color combination.
