Notes

I planned out this blanket in 2020, and knit 90 percent of my squares then but for one reason or another, I put it aside. I just had a bunch of squares in ziplock bags sitting in a tote FOR YEARS. Finally, as the new year started I made it a mission to go back to my WIPs and clear them out. As it turned out, I had 8 squares left to knit plus all the finishing. Knitting the squares are so quick and is a great mobile project. Seaming this of course requires some down time at home. It took me the better part of a day to seam the whole thing and the next day to weave in the ends and knit the applied icord edge. It turned out really cute! Once in rhythm of seaming and weaving in ends, knitting the icord edge can actually be quite addicting. If you just put on a good show and have at it you won’t want to get up until its done. That said, if you are an active, on the go type person like I am it will likely sit in a ziplock bag for five years until you have a long snowy weekend with no plans and a new season available to stream.
