Super quick knit. The star stitch is fun, but if you are too tight it can be tough to work. (I am not a tight knitter at all and it required some conscious effort to keep the stitches workable!)

The pattern takes a bit to unfold but once it does it is easy to read your knitting and keep track of where you are even though the pattern is not charted and there is quite a bit of moving/replacing markers.

The pattern has a video tutorial and is laid out in a way that is easy to follow. You can twist stitches really quickly and have an elaborate looking stitch pattern for your hat in no time at all.
