My first attempt at the Kihnu Troi Cast-On. Nancy Bush’s book Folk Knitting in Estonia well describes this process.

April 4 -- one sock done, with an extra repeat of the snowflake pattern on the instep because my feet are large. Difficult to get these on and off for now, but they fit when on. I hope they block out bigger.

Love these socks, will knit again.
