04/11/14 Really should not have let these sit around so long! I could have figured out that knitting the medium meant that I didn’t have enough yarn to finish this project as is. Figured this out when I’m looking at what is left of the yarn and realizing I still had a flap and the rest of the thumb to do. Weighed the first one and it comes up 31g. This is a 50g ball. Not enough yarn!
So going to frog both and then come back and do the small.

11/13/13 Cast on for the left mitt on the way to the Barony Business Meeting. German Twist Long Tail cast on by the light of the light in the car after dark. I really can knit almost in the dark. ;-) Worked through row 26 while in the meeting.

11/10/13 Missed the ‘repeat row 3’ part of finishing up part of the flap. So had to compensate over the next few rows. Think I did it okay. Finished it and then the thumb. Will cast on for the left mitt tomorrow.

11/09/13 hand all done and on holders. First repeat of the flap done. Need to do 5 more.

11/08/13 Have knit through row 56 and have the thumb on a stitch holder.

11/07/13 Cast on and was following the pattern, I thought. Misread and thankfully was only about 10 rows in when I frogged it and started over. Reknit and got past that point and on through row 27. Read to start the thumb gusset tomorrow. Wasn’t too excited about the color but its definitely very springlike. Have no firm plans for who will get these when they are done. Guess it depends on how I like them when I get them done. ;-)
