I used some leftover eyelash yarn and pink acrylic held together to knit a hat for my cubicle vulture at work.

There’s nothing inside the ears to stiffen them. I just knitted them really tightly. They’re essentially big i-cord, flattened out, with decreases near the tops of the ears.

The hat portion was just a rectangle, knitted flat, seamed, and gathered at the top.
