Easy project, but the pattern definitely has some boo boos. They are pretty easy to work through if you are a seasoned crocheter, however. I chose to do it in a solid color because using various colors makes it look like a big bull’s-eye on your belly, IMO, heh. Ew.

I typically wear a women’s medium (I’m somewhere between 34 and 36 bust), but for some reason my circle was ending up WAY under gauge. I used the right yarn AND hook, but I had to do a LARGE in order to meet the gauge for SMALL !!! I’ve made PLENTY of garments, so I think it’s just the pattern. It needs help.

For my ties, I slip stitched back down the chains to make them stronger. I also slip stitched around the entire top because it gives it a more “finished” look as well.

..ANYway, shrug I’m not over the moon about the top, but…yeah…I like it okay, I guess. I MAY back it with fabric so I don’t have to wear it over anything.
