Such a handsome sweater

Only mod: Ladders formed at my decreases as I was afraid to tug on the delicate quarry. To remedy I went back in with a finer wool afterward and cinched it up with a duplicate stitch type treatment. Worked well. (Leaving the ladders would have bugged me)

Next time I would eliminate the short rows and start decreases in the colorwork eliminating the need for k3tog. Lots of extra fabric in the arm pits for no good reason

All that said, he loves it. Cant wait for it to dry, add toggles and get my burly man to model it.

Finished it with knit facings in finer Finnish wool, backer buttons for the toggles and sweet little tag.
