This started off as a rainbow coloured version of Min Ulla, but I added so many motifs from elsewhere that now it doesn’t look much like Min Ulla anymore!

I added a few motifs from 150 Scandinavian Knitting Designs by Mary Jane Mucklestone: 9, 10, 33, 44, 100, 101, 102, 146.

And one from this DROPS pattern for a dog sweater, several from this blanket and one from this sock pattern.

I grafted the two ends together having twisted the scarf to make an infinity scarf/cowl. It was roughly 46” long at that point. I only wanted it long enough to wind around my neck once, as it’s quite a wide scarf and I was worried that would make it look too chunky.

I really wanted to have a white-on-yellow stripe too, but I found the yellow disappeared into the white too much when I tried that.

As it’s a tube with all the loose ends on the inside I didn’t bother weaving them in, just tied knots. Bit slapdash, but then felted tweed is very grippy and it won’t fray.
