And this is why I love Ravelry…
I started doing the border as the pattern stated, not only was it boring it was making the edges curl up. I thought to myself, I can’t possibly be the only person who didn’t like this border so I looked at other projects and found this gorgeous modification. Thank you!

Row 1
3 sc into any ch3 space at corner. 4 dc into next sc. sc into next ch1 space. 4 dc into next sc. 3 sc into ch3 space. 4 dc into next sc. sc into next ch1 space.
ch 4.
5 treble cluster(tr into next sc keeping last loop of tr on hook((2loops on hook)), skip next dc, tr into next dc keeping last loop of tr on hook ((3 loops on hook)), skip ch3, tr around join keeping last loop on hook((4 loops on hook)), skip ch3, tr into first dc keeping last loop on hook((5 loops on hook)), tr in next sc keeping last loop on hook((6 loops on hook)). yo and pull through all 6 loops on hook. ch4.
sc into next ch1 space. 4 dc into next sc. repeat from beginning.
Row 2
sc in each stitch around making 4 sc around each ch4.
I love this border and it finishes the throw beautifully. I personally chose to do 3sc in each ch4 space.
