Jan 13th. Ok. after what seems like the billionth time I frog the colourwork because I wasn’t satisfied with the colours, I just went ahead and kept it simple. from light to dark to light. no middle colour.

Still not 100% convinced I like the collar. i’m not getting the same look as the model. so i’m going to try again, mabey knitting a little after the ribbing before I do my first increase row.

Alright, well, I made it past the colour gradient section and have decided that I don’t like the feldmaus in the middle. I have to frog the whole thing anyways because it’s way too big. I had a hard time figuring out size because of the way the increases are done, but now I think I know what my stitch count should be, and how to get it.

Doing the body in Tolkirsche. then doing the gradient in various oranges. Nature, Limone, Kuken, Sonne, Morchen, Kurbis, and a few others I had i’m not sure of what they are.

Since i’ve been doing my uncle’s Babette blanket, i’ve kind of fallen in love with the colour palette. I thought I could apply it to this.
