sept 26th. Almost done the shoulder bit. should be done tonight. and then see if it works!

sept 25. I have been knitting for 2 days straight! and i’m still only 2 welts into the shoulder pieces! lol
I was hopping to finish this this weekend. Husband was gone, just me and the needles. but I still have work to do!

sept 24: Ok, back at the cuffs!

sept 23: picked this back up last night. got to half way through the sleeve cuff part, counted my welts, and I was off by 2! damn! so I frogged the whole sleeve area, I didn’t like the way the cast on sts looked at each end either, so I think i’ll do them a different way. starting over sleeves tonight.

woo!! started the sleeve/shoulder part!

Almost at welt 20!! this long weekend is half knitting, half yard work. lol got lots done yesteray, today, I knit.

on welt 13. man!! I don’t think i’ll finish this in time for the WWMM11!! eek.

on welt 9.

on welt 7. I love thatyou start from the outside. do all the long rounds in the begining, then the end is quick and rewarding! :D

Just received the book. Wow, what a beautifull book!
Just waiting on Minze and Mistlezeig to arrive.
Hopefully, if I finish my two WIPS, i’ll cast this on for the Garment KAL and the STRIPEY BATTLE!
82PB, Großstadtpflanze, Minze, Mistlezeig

MOD NOTES:
Alrighty it’s all sewn up, on the blocking mat, just have to get photos of it.
Project notes.
• Cast on 82 sts in each section. 657 sts total.
• Am doing 8 row / 7 row bumps instead of 6 / 5 to get row gauge.
• I calculated that according to my stitch count, I should have 309 stitches when I got to the shoulders. If I were to decrease as per the directions, I would have an extra 37 sts. So I decreased 2st at a time (k3tog) on each side of the marker on welt 6 and 12 and this brought me close to the proper stitch count.
• I bound off XXXX (have to double check this when I get home tonight) stitches for the centre section.
• When I was working the sleeves, I did exactly what the pattern said until I got to the welts where you increase many sts at a time. On these welts, I increased 5 sts every row instead of following the pattern. This brought my total sleeve stitch count to XXX (going to double check this as well)
• For the cuff, I cast on 32 sts.
• I knit welts according to pattern.
• When it came time to bind off, I did exactly the opposite as the pattern said. I cast off 32 sts on the one row, then 5 sts every row after that until I was at XXX number of stitches.
• From there, I resumed following the pattern until I came to 22 sts. I bound off.

So, those are my notes. I hope this helps. It grew slightly, but I would say it’s still a size 3.
