Frogged, was way too big now. mauerblumchen is too precious to just have it sit there on the shelf.
all blocked, just have to get buttons on.
OMG, I wish I could have snagged pictures of this yesterday!! I LOVE IT! so cute!! will post pictures ASAP
-
blocking. now the only hard part about knitting for me.. finding buttons!!!
-
ALMOST DONE!! eeeee.. just a bit on the last sleeve. then I block!
-
Only sleeves left. I knit one with the thought of making a mini poof on the top, but that didn’t look so great. so I frogged, and I think i’ll just stick to a straight sleeve. my arms are large enough without the extra bulk! :)
-
almost done the botton hem with 2 last rows sonne, then the purl, and sonne on the underside. love it!
Ok, 1 inch from the length I want. knit as far as I could with the mauerblumchen, just waiting on sonne. Not sure if i’m going to use it to do the last inch, or just inderneath. we’ll see when it gets here.
:D
am going to use Sonne for the underside of the hem. I think orange and purple go really well together, and i’m afraid to run out of mauerblumchen! so i’ll do the same on the sleeves. not sure i’ll be doing a puff sleeve yet. we’ll see how much yardage I have left.

did only 4 hip increases. I didn’t do as many decreases either since I don’t really have curves, i’m more of a rectangle since i’ve gained weight and my stomach grew outwards! lol skimming away from the body is the goal in most of my garments these day!
-
divided sleeves from body. Did this at the sixth 2 row repeat (instead of 11 as it called) since my row gauge was slighly larger as well as my stitch gauge. as it’s top down, try on as you go! :) and I have a short torso.
-
tied it in the round, only to get a few rows down and notice I twisted it. oops! so I frogged, and now i’m about to tie it back together! :)
Decided I just didn’t like the colour. so I restarted it with Mauerblumchen, and a bigger needle. now the fabric is airier, and I love the colour.
