I have added 40 stitches to the width because in the beginning I wanted it a little wider. After knitting on this a while I should have only added about 20.

Love the gathers in this blanket. I will make it longer than called for. The last daughter said she wished her blanket was larger.
Plan is to add a yellow scalloped edge.

I ende up adding a picot edge in a mustard yellow. We found out the baby is a boy, so this is a better design than a frilly edge.
