I made a few of these hooded scarves using various stitch patterns with Red Heart Super Saver yarns. When I complete a project with this yarn, I always wash it with a little detergent and fabric softener and then machine dry for a short amount of time. This takes off the protective coating that makes this yarn a little stiff and it softens it right up.
