I used the rhythm yarn which had a multitude of blues in each skein and the colors played out beautifully though I was a bit skeptical….

I used a F hook (3.75mm) though the yarn called for H-J hooks as I like the stitches to be a bit small….I crocheted the cardi for my 3 yr old and did the largest size on the pattern, I did 8 repeats for the bottom and went on to the yoke…
I crocheted an offwhite border along the neck and body of the shrug… I also created a frog closure for the cardi. I liked the frog closure from deedledesigns but it was too small for my liking so I created a bigger and fuller closure which turned out exactly as I wanted…..
