I made the elephant much bigger than the recommended size as I wanted a substantially large toy for my daughters to play with…
For the feet I knit 14 rows for each leg and then started decreasing…
For the trunk, I did a 17 stitch length…
and for the ears I didnt like the crochet ears so I followed the large elephant ears described here http://www.ravelry.com/projects/HvnSntRN/elefante
