Notes

After 4 attempts I finally got this cowl started and am on my way… Currently on Chart B!

Now here are a few things that I figured out, which helped me throughout the making of the scarf…. I dont like using many stitch markers and since this pattern called for a lot of repeats, I didnt want to use so many… So here are some hints to get u along the flow…

  1. All the purl stitches of the different rounds always align up… So when you start a new round and u dont have a purl stitch on the previous row… u know u have messed up the previous rounds…

  2. The double Yos are tricky… Its easy for one of the legs of the yos to side off when u are working with the prev stitch, so be careful and pay attention…. Also most of the yos have 2 sts worked into them acc. to the pattern… Most of the times the second stitch is a ktbl… So if ur yo does not come off the needle using a ktbl, u have messed up again….

With these 2 points in mind, I was able to successfully start my project and I have to say its pretty straightforward here on… Will add pics as my work progresses more….
