Had to do three swatches to get gauge. I had to go up to 4mm needles rather than the 3.5mm the pattern suggests.

Wrap and turn short rows looked awful - holes at ends and very visible. Ripped back and used German short rows instead which were quick and easy and invisible.

Finished yoke colourwork. Sleeve separation.

Commenced waistband ribbing.

Bound off waistband. Commence sleeve 1.

I found colourwork on the small circumference of the sleeves extremely difficult, especially with the long floats between the polka dots. Ended up buying a 23cm circular needle so I can work the sleeves without doing magic loop or using DPNs. Much better. Still have not completed sleeve #1 yet.

Sleeve #1 complete. I tried it on and the polka dot colourwork is too tight on my arm. I’ll frog the sleeve and start over.

Sleeve #1 now ripped back to plain section. I’ll be re-doing it without the colourwork up the arms. I’m not confident of my ability to fix the tension and I don’t want to have to rip back a second time. I’ll add the colourwork around the wrists only.

Bound off, blocked, about to weave in ends. Fit was a bit funny pre-blocking - puckering around neckline. I think I didn’t need as many short rows as the pattern called for to bring up the back neck. I have attempted to stretch and manipulate the neckline during blocking.
