2/13 - Found the pattern I like on purlbee’s website! Starting today but I’m going to make it striped with the off white, mixed blue and light blue yarn I bought at JoAnns for this project a while ago. North Korean mafia baby get ready to snuggle! Chained 134 stitches (needs multiples of 3 plus 2 stitches) and that looks like it will be about 3’ wide.
5/10 - Working away. Took a LONG break from this. Shawn & I are incommunicado so I wasn’t sure this was going to end up to baby Jovian. But Harry & I are still getting along so I decided to go ahead & finish it anyways. I am over a foot into it. I really enjoy working on it. It’s a fun, fast stitch to work. Will take pix soon! I also need to get more of the mixed color. I use it twice as much as the other two since it goes in every other row. I’m getting dangerously low! I probably only have a few more rows left in the skein I have.
8/19 - I was at JoAnn’s & picked up a second skein of the medium blue. I did a few rows the other day & man, this blanket feels like heaven!!! It is so soft & fluffy I am seriously considering making one for myself.
6/19/13 - I crocheted a row today. Wow.
9/29/14 - YAY!!! My sister is pregnant & just found out she is having a boy! I now have a purpose to finish this. :)
11/13 - Amy’s baby shower is Saturday. Since I can’t afford a gift worthy of awesomeness I’m going to give her this. I worked on it for a few hours between last night & today. In the last two days I crocheted more than I originally had done! I guess I never really just sat down & worked on it for a good solid length of time because I realized it works up pretty fast. I’m estimating I need about four more color repeats to end up with a square & with how fast I’m crocheting I’ll definitely be able to finish in two days.
~ Note to self, WHEN (not if) I finish this, do a single crochet border of dark blue, marl blue, then white. Finished when square sized.
