Cast on 59 stitches to achieve the 80cm length as my yarn is not as chunky. Knit to about 20cm wide.

Used crochet cable cast on to mirror the simple bind off.

The twist works better counter clockwise when looking at the tip of the left needle. This makes knitting the large piece easier later on for me.
