I really like the pattern so far. It’s very clearly written, which is nice for it being my first top-down yoke sweater.

Divided for sleeves, and Eric tried it on. Per his request, I cast on 8 stitches under each arm to give him a little more room.

Finished body of sweater on or around 10/31.

The pattern says to make 10 decreases, but I think I’ll make 12 since I added stitches at the underarms.

NEVER MIND. Around decrease #10, the sleeve measures about 17 inches on him when worn, that’s more than enough. Change to smaller needles.

TRY this: while working K2p2, decrease on either side of the marker every 3-4 rows (4” =26 rows, there are 14 extra stitches) or so to get down to 60 at the cuff as designed.
