Notes

This colorway makes for a slightly more rustic shawl, don’t you think? The original design may be Victorian England inspired, but I like to think this is Native American with its raw turquoise colorway and its alpaca fiber. And the lace is arrowheads, I guess. OK?

I hate making acres of garter stitch, so the body is in stockinette. I’ll put up with the border being garter, though, because the contrast will be nice and it will make the edge stretchy. Speaking of stretchy, here’s hoping this alpaca won’t sprawl out all over the place when I block it, as that fiber is wont to do.

I rated this as medium/difficult only because I’m new to shaped lace knitting. If you aren’t put off by that, it should be a piece of cake.
