I bought this yarn, and some more of different colors to make a stunning shawl. I swatched for the pattern and swatched, and swatched some more, each time the needle sizes getting tinier and tinier. At size 000 the gauge was almost there.

I was looking at this pattern and thought that three of the colors I had for the shawl were beautiful together, and maybe I had enough, and maybe I could knit this sweater instead on normal sized needles, end up with something lovely to wear, and perhaps even enjoy knitting again.

My knitting mojo is back! It fits perfectly and spent its first day as a finished sweater hiking up a very high mountain in the rain with patches of snow in the summertime. The water at this little waterfall tasted great! This sweater is going to be perfect for a Banff ‘summer.’
