Notes

I made 3 jar toppers using this bunny pattern. They were Easter gifts for my friends’ children.
I used empty Nutella jars for these projects. The cover for the jar lid is a circle, crocheted in continuous rounds in single crochet stitches. When I got a circle large enough to cover the top of the lid, I stopped increasing and just crocheted the same amount of stitches for another 4 or 5 rows, covering the side of the lid. I finished the cover with a scalloped edge.
The little carrots were made using a video tutorial I found on the YouTube channel DIY-100ideas, but I slightly changed the green leaves and just attached a few strands of yarn in the same way you would add fringe to a scarf.
I sewed the bunny and carrot to the lid cover, then carefully glued the cover to the lid with hot glue.
