** Pattern Test **

The pattern calls for plush / velvet yarn, which unfortunately I did not have and could not find to purchase in the required colours.

I used DK yarn for all parts, a 3.5mm hook for the head, body, arms, legs, nose, wart and ears; 2.5mm hook for eyes, tusks, tongue and horns, and 2mm for the teeth.

As I used DK yarn for everything, I had to slightly change the proportions of some of the pieces. I made the eyes only up to round 3 and the teeth up to round 2. I only made 2 teeth.

8mm safety eyes.

My Gruffalo measures 20cm from feet to the tip of his horns.
