What a sweet pattern! Smooth flowing, beginners friendly, and cozily repetitive. Just the pattern for a holiday or a rainy day with a hot drink.
Eventhough it’s quite simple, but you can make so many different blankets with it. I, myself chose to make it with different colors.
I highly recommend it for beginners as it has several basic stitches clearly presented in the pattern and in the video. Also being in the round relieves new crocheters from worrying about the beginnings and ends of rows.
I also loved that it’s worked on the ‘right side’ and the ‘wrong side’ making it lay flat.I think I may not need to block it because of this.Let’s see how it will turn out.

I just finished it.I rushed to post the finished project and to tell you how sentimental it is to make a baby’s blanket. It fills you with love to an unknown human being coming to the world.
