A new square, a new adventure. This is a quick and elegant square. it is not for beginners .who ever wants to try it needs a bit of experience with front post stitches. So if you are a beginner reading this, hurry up and practice to be able to enjoy making this exquiste square. It’s 3 dimensional with lots of texture lin a fairly small square.
I made one amendment to my square. I made 1 dc before the upper row petal,1dctog in the stitches before and after the petal, and a dc in the stitch after the petal. It elongates the petal a bit, making the square more dramatic in my opinion.
If I ever have time to do this square again,I would use a light color for the petals.Gives depth and detail. Also I would avoid 4 spun yarn. It’s easy to split in this pattern.
Of course the sky is the limit with what you can do with it. Me,I’m making 4 to join them together in a phone purse.

I love it! I love everything about it: pattern, texture, colors and utility. I hate to see it finished. My console is that I have a little more time to make something else.
