I’m not so sure why Mikey named this particular pattern ‘calming comfort’. I’ve tried some of his other free patterns before.He uses the simplest of stitches and with a minimum amount of brain juice, he turns them to magical patterns. So basically all his patterns are calming and comforting. This is why I am jumping into this pattern. And a new adventure begins.

I finished week one of the pattern, but I didn’t quite like the next bit.So,I will carry on from another simple and magical Mikey pattern: baby shower blanket, till the rows I don’t like are finished. see you soon.

I exchanged rows 14 to 25 with rows 12 to 22 from baby shower blanket by mikey,and another single crochet row to come back to the original pattern.

I stopped at row 35 and added a border of my own favorites. The final result is super amazing, and the process was calming comforting and enjoyable : all that I expect from a pattern.
