I have so much to say about this project, so please bear with me.
It is so much fun to do. Every row is a different joy to be relished and absorbed. I would stop for a moment or two to look at and photograph each row after it ends with the new layer of colors giving it a different feeling altogether.
Now as it approaches completion, I feel like I am in a Latin American dance, eventhough I don’t understand the language.
I can see the ladies waving their happily colored and vast skirts to the rhythm of happy and joyful music. I can almost smell the greenery of the rural landscape, and the tastes of their wonderful foods. I can feel the warm breeze helping flutter the layers of skirts as I watch mesmerized.
I enjoyed every stitch and new technique I learnt while making this project.
All I need now is to find a way to make these 2 hexagons into an expensive looking bag. I will keep you posted on the developments in this matter.
Until then,
Thank you Tallermanualperu for taking me on a free tour to a beautiful part of the world.
