The willow square is a very versatile pattern. It surprises me with how many different things I can make with it, time after time.
A friend saw a crochet handbag on pinterest. I promised to make a similar one. Things had been coming along nicely till I ran out of yarn. (story of my life lol)

I have finished it! I have also learnt a lesson the hard way: crochet and bag making are 2 completely different arts. Crocheting and enjoying yarn are one thing. Putting the pieces together and sewing cloth and other items that make a bag what it is, is a really complicated thing way outside my line of expertise and comfort zone.A big applause to bag makers,and I hope they don’t rip apart my humble attempt in their domain.
Having said that, I will carry it with pride. Wasn’t it worth all the effort?
