I have had this colored cake for 4 years now. I just couldn’t make up my mind on what to do with it,nor the colors to match it.
The color combination was solved when the studio of a tv program was colored with strong hues of yellow,orange, red,pink,purple and blue. I loved it so much that I decided to use it soon.
As for the pattern,it’s 3 granny squares attached together to make this trendy tote. I enjoyed making the squares so much that I got carried away and created a tote that was almost half a meter wide. I took a deep breath and frogged 2 beautiful rows, to make it a reasonable size. I loved how it looked.
My main challenge after that was making a sturdy handle that didn’t reduce the preciousness of the tote. I thought of making it with leather,then changed my mind and did a handle using 6 stitches per row of the same blue yarn. It looks more rustic and light.
With that problem solved,I present to you my very first tote: my sunset tote. Now to a new project.
