This pattern was surely made as a pure Royal square. The 4 laurel wreathes intertwined into it, make it a present fit for victorious emperors or generals of some Ancient Empire.
Making it with a little bit thicker yarn than that recommended by Julia and a size 3 hook, bring out it’s beauty.
This was another unique, wonderful and satisfying crochet experience. I can’t wait to make some more of Julia’s sophisticated patterns.
