My sister chose a bag pattern online for me to gift her.
Since I hadn’t done a crochet bag before, I bought 2 different kinds of yarn, last summer. One was too thick and one was the right size. I used the right size for my sister’s bag (still unfinished ), and I was left with 4 squares of the thicker yarn with nothing to do with them. So I decided to make a new bag. It’s going to be summery, elegant, feminine and really beautiful. I hope I can pull it off.

I have been dragging my feet to finish this bag. For a starter the yarn is difficult to work with, eventhough I understand that it has to be stiff to make the bag hold itself together. Yet, It hurt my hand.
Also,I must say that I have gained a new level of respect to bag makers.It is no easy task,with many different steps, tools, accessories , AND skill necessary to make a single bag.
This made me extra proud to have been able to get this done.Can’t wait to carry it to an outing
