Simple pattern to memorize. Next time I think I’d go down a needle size for this yarn as it’s a bit loose for my liking.

Decided that one ball isn’t enough for the length I want so I’ll use two.

Nov 2/2013 - up to 53”. I think I’ll go to 60” and call it quits.

Nov 8/2013 - done, knit to 60” and blocked. It’s really hard to get a good picture of a scarf I can understand why people show it laid out on the bed.

Anyhow I’m quite pleased with this scarf, hopefully it won’t be too long for my DIL but I figured longer was better as there would be more options to wear it in different styles. This is wide enough that it could be worn as a head scarf or even around the shoulders like a stole.

It’s a shame but the photos don’t really show the true colour of the yarn, which is a beautiful deep cranberry. I did try to photoshop the one picture but it’s not really that great.
