Using some shetland fibre that I spun into a bulky weight yarn. The yarn was spun for the February SAL with Blissmakers and the hat will be another KAL for Surmount the Stash group.

Asked my husband if he wanted a hat and his comment about the yarn was that it was white so I dyed the yarn with Jaquard’s Sapphire Blue and then over-dyed it with some Jet Black. The amount of dye used was just a smidgeon of each.

Quick knit, started in the afternoon and finished the knitting part at night with tucking in the loose ends the following morning.

Tried the hat out on all of us to see what it looked like and then decided to post all the pictures to show that it looks good on all ages and genders.
