My absolute favorite hat! I’ve knit 7 or 8! Double thickness through the brim, so my ears stay warm, but light enough to not overheat.

Subsequent versions:
• Use COWYAK for provisional CO.
For seamless join- CO 1 extra stitch, then slip 1st stitch to right needle, and then pass 2nd stitch on right needle over that st, pull up excess yarn. Place marker.
•Because the superwash yarn can grow a bit after washing, I have added a 2x2 ribbed section to the inside brim.
