I love this huge squishy cowl!
This was my first crochet cast-on and I love the neat result. I matched it with a simple chain bind-off but sized WAY up to a US#10.5.
It was a rocky start: Take note that garter stitch IN THE ROUND is alternating knit/ purl rows! I goofed that the first time. On my second go, I was careful to not twist my join, but at some point when picking up my knitting, I spun the needle and ended up with a mobius. Because I had so many stitches on the needle, I was a good 3-4” in to the chart. Yeah… ugh. The third time’s the charm!
The cast-on edge curls a bit and the bind-off is not exactly garter (the chart ends in a purl row, but then you start three rows of garter with a purl row. I would knit this again but change that to p/k/p/k rows.
