I decided to play with an improvised pattern to use up scraps I had left over from other Street Knits projects started on Knit In Public Day at The Purple Purl’s event in their neighbouring park on Queen Street East.

Picked up a bit more dark purple to finish at the Purl on TTCKnitalong Day a week later, and completed them while on the Queen streetcar heading from the Purl to Americo and then Romni on Queen Street West.

Made them larger than my hands on purpose, since the first mittens I made on KIP day turned out small. And I actually remembered to take pictures before dropping them off!

I might write up the pattern if there’s interest. EDIT: urk, no, I spilled water on my pattern notes and that was quite the water-soluble ink, apparently. And I don’t have the FO anymore, so I’d have to recreate it based on these pictures.
