Finished! Veerle loves them, she says she wants to put them on to school tomorrow, so that’s definitely a good sign…

One sock is finished. Veerle absolutely adores them! I had her try it on to see the fit and she wouldn’t take it off anymore… :-D

I got one sock from my boss. She couldn’t use it any more and asked if I could do anything with it. I decided I would frog it and add a skein of sock wool in a complementary colour and combine the two into a pair of socks for Veerle. So I am making stripes: 5 rows pink, 10 rows blue… The socks get a short-row heel. :-) The effect of the striping is very nice! You can hardly notice the difference between the two yarns.
