Olympic Knitting for my Olympic buddy. On the day of the Openning Ceremonies Bronwyn was suppose to be getting a pass from the hospital to see a movie but instead was grounded with a low INR, which measures the bloods ability to clot. A low INR puts Bronwyn at risk for clots forming and therefore stroke. She is hooked up to an IV blood thinner for the weekend which has given us plenty of time for watching although my knitting hasn’t been that great. Maybe lace isn’t the best thing to be doing while trying to watch sports and taking care of a ‘mostly’ bedridden kid.

July 30th: By the time I was more than halfway through the increase pattern (after ripping and restarting and unknitting several rows) I had the hang of the lace. I should be finished the Time Vortex Lace by tomorrow. Not looking forward to picking up 113 stitches after that.
