Notes

Oct. 2- After starting, I realized that the yarn I was using was 4-ply instead of the recommended 6-ply, so I’m trying to decide whether to keep going, or frog it and go out and get heavier yarn. If I stick with the 4-ply, the “seed” part of the seed stitch will be (and is) barely visible. Or, I could just forget the seed stitch entirely and just do plain knit/perl. Decisions, decisions.

Oct. 3 - I considered doubling up, using one strand white and one strand black, but when I did that as a test I realized it looked too busy. Maybe a different color combination? And if I do that, I really will have to give up on the seed stitch, because it would probably be a little too much, added to the multiple colors.

Oct. 4- Yeah, doubling up was a bad idea-- I think it made it less stretchy. Plus it’s too small to actually fit around my hand, so I’m going to have to frog that.

Oct. 5- Finished one! It came out pretty well, and it was super quick-- not even a couple hours, but I kept taking breaks, of course. Short attention span and all.

Oct. 7- Finished the second one! It’s done! … WAIT WHERE’D I PUT THE FIRST ONE DDDD8

Oct. 9- Urf. Couldn’t find the first one, so I just made a replacement, since it’s so quick. Note to self: bind off LOOSELY.
