Even though I made the small size, it seems like it came out a bit on the big side.

For R17, I repeated R5 but I did (dc2tog, dc) in each ch-space. (54 sts)
For R18, I did dc 2, dc2tog (41 sts)

I did it this way to make cinching the top less bulky.
