Cast on for Australian time - so a day early. But with a business trip from Dec 2-7 I know I need the advantage to even try to stay caught up.
Used Chinese Waitress cast on and then powered through the first color. Was a bit disappointed when I got to the end - I could have knit a bit more.

Day 2 complete. Got a phone call in the middle of the clue, and apparently skipped a row somehow - had to tink back about half the clue to get my right and wrong sides back on track. But none the worse for wear, and ready for day 3!

Day 4 - slightly less differentiation in the colors from day 3 to day 4, but in decent light you can see it. I’m trusting the process.

Fell behind a bit due to a business trip, but almost caught back up to Australia time! If I can get two more done tomorrow I’ll be back on track.

Day 16 complete. Found my rhythm and just kick back to do the clue. It’s actually quite a bit of knitting for one day, but thankfully I have the luxury of time right now to get it done.

Caught back up with day 19 and got day 20 started (Aussie time). Doorbell rang and in the excitement one of the dogs got tangled and pulled my needle halfway out. Ugh. Tomorrow I have a lot of tinking to do to get back to a row I feel confident hasn’t dropped any stitches. Joy.

Tinked back to day 19, restarted day 20 and all is well. Not such a huge deal in the scheme of things, but still, ugh. Didn’t get to day 21 as I would have hoped, but maybe tomorrow I can get 2 days done. It’s becoming a bit of a slog to get this finished.

Days 21 and 22 finished today, back on Aussie time! Pulled the last 3 packages out of the bag and although unopened, I left them out to motivate me. Only 3 more to go!

Day 24 complete. The yarn was undyed and is so stark white in comparison I really was tempted to open day 25 and see how it would be toned down, but I held off. One more day - going to try and bang this out in the morning so I can soak and block tomorrow as well.

Day 25 done! Off the needles and already on the blocking mats. It’ll be a great wrap, it was just a bear to work up in this daily marathon style. Next year I’ll have to rethink the advent thing.
