There is no way I should be casting on a new project, and I most certainly don’t need more shawls. But yet, here I am answering the siren call of the cast on and the need for a basic project.

Working from stash as much as possible and trying to reduce the number of variegated in my stash - I love the pretty colors, but I never use them for anything. The lighter color is subtle shades of grey from almost white to a light pewter. The blue ranges from a bright cobalt to a deep navy and I think the two more tonal skeins with really play on each other in this project.

1st garter section complete. 1st mosaic section complete. Just a few rows into the lace section, but moving right along.

Through the second repeat of the lace section. One more to go before moving on.

Finished the 3rd lace repeat and the first full repeat of the second mosaic section. Mosaic moves so quickly I should be able to finish up that section in a rapid pace.

04-13-2020

Finished the mosaic section 2 and moved into the last garter section. Halfway through that section - only 18 more repeats until the bind off.

Off the needles. Finished with about 1g left of the main color.
